Via a blundering convergence of art history, mythology, & contemporary life, The Harbingers humorously reflect on the stories we create to make sense of the unknown. Set in a whimsical world rife with hubris & overconsumption, entities spiced with undertones of apathy, joy, societal confusion & apocalyptic dread wander flooding & droughting landscapes The beings in these narratives seek transfiguration into a more enlightened state, however their behaviour remains decidedly human. In this world, pink does not lead us to a place of sweet innocence, & a warning is faintly heard through the din.
